Gabriela is a remarkable 4th grader whose life has been touched by faith and family miracles. “This year 2024 has been incredible for my family.” Gabriela’s testimony is one of hope and perseverance.

“My dad was without a job for five long years. When he finally got a job, they sent him to San Pedro (A city 109 miles away from Tegucigalpa, where we live), and he had to stay there for two months. I prayed so much for his return, especially that he would come back with a job. It was a tough time, and I often worried about how we would get by. My mom worked hard to support us, but there were days when we didn’t have enough food.”

She recalls feeling sad and even wrote a letter to her dad during that time. “I was really missing him. One time, I was so upset that I wrote him a letter, but my dad had to leave for work before I could give it to him. I felt like I missed my chance to express how much I love him. But I held onto hope, knowing that God was listening to my prayers.”

Gabriela continues, “God answered my prayers when my dad was transferred back to Tegucigalpa. I felt such relief, but I still pray for my mom every day because she’s not treated well at her job, and I want her to find a better one. I believe in the power of prayer, and no matter what happens, I know God is with us.” She tell us the way she accept Christ “I accepted the Lord in second grade during devotions at Jubilee. At first, I didn’t even know what that meant, but it was then that I truly met God.”
She also prays for her sister Lizzy to finish her studies at the university and for her aunt Paty to have a successful gallbladder operation. “Even though I sometimes feel alone during the day, I have a lot of faith. God is always there, and I want to keep praying for my family and myself. My friends at school encourage me too. We often pray together, which strengthens our faith.”

Gabriela’s story is a beautiful reminder of the power of hope and prayer, and how a child’s faith can uplift a family during difficult times.
