Parent Satisfaction in 2021

“And whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord…”  Col. 3:23

Earlier this year, we sent out a satisfaction survey to all of the parents of our students.  Our objective was to discover how they perceive the teaching and learning processes are going so far during this virtual school year.  Overall, the results were very favorable and have served as further motivation to the staff of Jubilee Centers International to keep working using the best practices available to them.

Education has truly taken a great turn because of COVID-19, and we have faced changes and new challenges, especially in the area of technology. This made us recognize the importance in understanding the opinions and levels of satisfaction of the parents. For this reason, the Honduran Board of Directors chose to conduct this survey in order to identify areas for improvement.

“I believe that, as an institution, we must know how we are doing and where we are going. My objective with the completion of this survey is in regards to teaching-learning strategies, attention given to the parents, and the levels of satisfaction of both students and parents. As a credentialed school, it is important that we gather quantitative data so that we may continue to grow and improve.” Yeni Osorio, Director by CJI.

The questionnaire was sent to all of the parents in the school. The results of the survey were processed to obtain statistical data which was, overall, very satisfactory.

“I was very glad to see that the results show how satisfied the parents are with the methodologies being used.  It’s encouraging to know that the parents appreciate the efforts and dedication of the teaching staff.” Karol Soto, Second Grade Teacher

“By reading the survey results, I can tell that the parents are more relaxed and encouraged as we help them and their children adapt to this new way of learning.  We are using technologies that were unknown to them before, but with our help, they are all embracing it. I pray to God that through the rest of 2021, we will continue to work as a team: students, parents, and the staff of JCI.” Guadalupe Urbina, Fourth Grade teacher

“I think it is very important to always ask parents how they feel about their children’s education. These opinions help us to improve if there is something we are doing wrong, but also encourage us to always do our work with excellence. It is hard work, but with God as our guide, we do it with enthusiasm.” Alejandra Rosales, Seventh Grade Lead Teacher

“I am satisfied with the results of the surveys.  They show that parents value our effort, and this affirmation serves to spur us onward. My goal is to continue giving 100% to all of the students that I teach.  I also desire to support students and parents both emotionally and spiritually whenever they are in need of direction since everything I do is dedicated to the Lord.”  Shery Cerna, Third Grade teacher.

“I am very happy with the results! The teachers are doing an excellent job, and it is reflected in the results of our questionnaire.” Yeni Osorio, Director of CJI

Without a doubt, what is done with love and effort has its reward, especially when we are focused on doing it as for the Lord! JCI exists not only to teach students academically, but also spiritually.  Our staff is dedicated to serving God, and they count it as a privilege to be given the opportunity to do so in this manner knowing that their efforts do not go unnoticed by God our Father!

“And whatever you do, do it from the heart, as for the Lord and not for men; knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance, because you serve Christ the Lord.”

Colossians 3: 23-24
